LIABILITY INSURANCE
Date: JANUARY 4, 1999

The Board shall procure insurance against liability of the district or its officers or employees for damage resulting from wrongful acts and omissions of the school district and its officers and employees.

Insurance Program/Transportation (EDB)

The Newton County Board of Education shall provide insurance coverage insuring school children riding in buses from bodily injury or death as required by law and State Board of Education policies.

The discretionary authority to provide liability coverage to members of the general public against personal injury or death or property damage resulting from operation of school buses, or any additional coverage which may be deemed appropriate may be exercised.
