Map Machine	by National Geographic - MapMachine is a dynamic atlas that lets you explore hundreds of maps, satellite images, and historical cartography to customize your own experience.
PBS Kids Go Figure	PBS Kids' Go Figure offers history and geography tours for young readers. For example, you can read about New York. Or trace the evolution of jazz. Take a break with games ranging from educational to silly. The site also offers a Web License. To get a license, take the quiz on Internet facts and safety.
Smithsonian for Kids	The Smithsonian offers interesting bits of information on science, history and culture. The Smithsonian Kids section tells the stories behind several exhibits. Other parts of the site offer games. For example, match animals with their habitats in the Polar Pairs game. You can also find biographies of presidents, famous scientists and artists. The site makes a great source for reports.
National Geographic Kids	Get information on art, science, culture and geography from National Geographic. Look at maps and read about animals from various regions. Or learn about earthquakes, volcanoes and tornadoes. Articles cover everything from ancient Egypt to recent environmentalist efforts. The site also links to Map Machine, which lets you tour the world through satellite photos.
Math Flash Cards	This simple flash card game will automatically score you through 50 problems. You can pick from addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. Each set offers seven levels of difficulty. Correct answers are scored as stars and percentages. Get 100 percent correct to earn a medal.
Funschool	Funschool is loaded with educational games that look great. Cannon Math has you firing human cannonballs at correct answers. In Dungeon Escape, help Evan the Warrior escape by unscrambling riddles. There are dozens of activities, covering subjects including math, language, geography and even music. Check out Dementia 13, which quizzes you on just about everything.
Child Classics	Story Time – Aesop’s Fables read aloud in mp3s. Also includes Mother Goose, Fairy Tales, and Holiday stories to be played on your computer.
