Honor Roll

Third, Fourth, and fifth grade students are eligible for honor roll recognition at the end of each semester.  The "All A" honor roll contains the names of students who have achieved a grade of "A" in all designated letter grade subjects and have not received an "N" or "U".  The "A/B" honor roll contains the names of students who have achieved at least one letter grade of "A" and all remaining letter grades are "B" or better.  To qualify for the "A/B" honor roll no "N" or "U" letter grades may be recorded.

Handwriting grades are not considered when determining honor roll eligibility.  however, all other subject area and conduct grades are used for determining eligibility.

Students in kindergarten, first, and second grades are evaluated using a scale (E,S,I,N,U)  to judge their attainment of curriculum content objectives.  Early childhood is  a time to develop and strengthen a child's academic, social, and emotional growth.  Development of strong self-esteem is of primary importance during these years.  Therefore, students in these grades are recognized for their individual achievements on a continuing basis instead of an honor roll listing.
