Newton High School's Crime Tip Reporting Web Page
Do you have suspicions that something is going on in your school or neighborhood and you would like to tell our resource officers without having to have an officer come to your classroom? Have you been wondering about something lately and think the police may need to check it out?
Newton High School has added a new "CRIME TIP" Email. This email address is made available to YOU, our Newton High School students, to let us know what you are seeing and what is on your mind.
If you have a safety question or concern that does not have an emergent need of police services, but could be looked into, just fill out the form below and submit your tip.
Feel free to leave your name, address, and phone number so that we may follow up with you privately if it is necessary. You may also remain anonymous if you wish. We will endeavor to check out all tips as best as we can.
The Crime Tip Programs deals with:
Reporting the Crime
If you have been a victim of crime or know about a crime that has been committed, you should report the crime to your teacher, administrators, or one of our resource officers. By reporting what has happened to you it will mean that the person who committed the crime may be caught and prevented from doing the same thing to someone else.
You do have the choice whether or not to report the crime, but it is in your best interests and those of your school and community to report it and there are a number of ways in which you can do so. These include:
* in an emergency, Dialing 911
* stopping in to our administrator's or resource officer's office
* or by filling out the form below and submitting it to us
What you should tell the resource officers:
Wherever possible you should tell the police:
Again, this service is not meant to replace non-emergency police services, it is meant to give you another avenue to report what you see, anonymously or not, for us to investigate and we hope it will be yet another way for the resource officers, faculty, and students to work together to “Take A Bite Out Of Crime”. If you have a tip you'd like to have investigated - email us!
Thank you for submitting your crime tip! We appreciate your help in making your school safe!
Respectfully,
Your administrators, Faculty, Staff and Resource Officers at Newton High School.
