Students

Students must have a pass from a teacher to come to the Media Center during
school hours. This is necessary during 4th period (student's lunch)
as well as other periods. No pass is needed before or after school.

Students must present their student I.D. to check out books.

A total of 3 books can be checked out for 2 weeks. They may be renewed.

The fine for overdue books is $.05 per school day. Fines
must be paid before books can be checked out.

Lost or damaged books must be paid for by the student.

Students may use reference books in the Media Center; they
are not available for circulation.

Food or beverages are not allowed in the Media Center.
-
Students must have an Acceptable Use Contract signed and
on file in order to use the computers.
Teachers
-
Faculty must present an I.D. to check out book; however, there is no overdue
fine for teachers.

Overdue notices are placed in the students' first period teachers' mailboxes
to be distributed to the students at the beginning of the period.

A teacher may check out references materials for a day.
-
Teachers should remain with their students in the Media Center for the
duration of the period.

A teacher may send up to 5 students to the Media Center from a class on
a pass.

The Media Center catalogue is available on the desktop of
classroom computers.
Parents
A parent can check out a book using his/her child's I.D.
(since the parent has not been assigned an I.D.).
