"There
are worse crimes than burning books.
One of them is not reading them."

Reading is critical to your child's success in school and in
life. Why is reading so important? Imagine that
your child's education is a marathon. It's long,
complicated, and full of twists and turns. Now imagine
that reading is the starting block. Without the ability
to read, the race can't even begin. If he or she cannot
read well, your child will likely struggle to succeed in
school. |
