Come TogetherWHAT: Workshop for Families of Special Needs Students

WHERE: Palmer-Stone Elementary School, Conference Room 100
TIME: 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM
**NCSS BOOK BUS will open at 6:00 PM

DETAILS:  Students with impairments in spoken or written language may use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods to supplement or replace speech or writing. Presenter Dr. Daphne Cofer, NCSS Special Education Instructional Coach, will provide training to both parents and teacher focusing on how to effectively use various AAC devices and supports. The NCSS Book Bus will be on hand before the workshop to offer books to students and parents as well. This workshop is free and open to the public. Limited childcare is available upon request.
